- Pharmacist working in hospital pharmacy is called hospital pharmacist.

- Hospital pharmacy provides quality medicine to all patients.
- Hospital pharmacy provides medicine to inpatient and outpatient.

- Branch of pharmacy that deals directly with general public and wholesalers.
- Medicines are taken from wholesalers and provides to the general public and fix percentage of profit.
Wholesale pharmacy :-
- It is a branch of pharmacy that deals directly with manufacturer/distributor and retail pharmacy.
- Medicines are taken from manufacturer and provided to the retail pharmacy/medical store at the fixed percentage of profit.
- It has no connection with patients.

4) lndustrial pharmacy :-

It is the apartment where medicines are manufactured according to specification. It includes,

- Capsul section
- Injection section
- Syrup section
2) Ware house :-
Area where raw materials and finished products are stored.
3) Quality control department :-
Department where quality of raw material and finished product is checked.
4) Research department :-
Department that deals with the synthesis of new medicine and improvement of existing medicine.
5) Administration :-
Department that deals with the administrative activities.
5) Forensic pharmacy

Branch of pharmacy that deals with medicine related to animals.
9) 0nline pharmacy :-
Also called internet pharmacy. You just order the drug online and drug is delivered to your home.
10) Nuclear pharmacy :-
- Branch of pharmacy the deals with the handling of radioactive materials.
- It does not directly deals with patients.
